On behalf of our Board of Directors, it is our pleasure to extend a personal invitation to you and your key management to join us for The 2010 Provincial Auto Industry Summit.

The Road Ahead, will see the New Car Dealers Association of British Columbia bring together Automobile Dealers from around the Province and top industry experts in Whistler September 28th to 30th as we look down the road to the future of the industry.

The past two years have been the most challenging in generations for the automobile industry with manufacturers moving into creditor protection, seeking and gaining government support, closing dealerships across the country and ushering in new state-of-the-art technologies. Relationships with governments have been at the forefront of discussion, from financial relationships, consumer incentive programs, taxation and industry regulation. It has been a time of radical change in the industry across all brands and sectors.

You and your management team will have the opportunity to be engaged in key discussions, which will shape your businesses for years to come. Speakers from across the industry will share experiences and insight into the automotive industry as it heads to 2020.

One of the most important topics for dealer principals will be the Industry White Paper on the future of the dealer network. This will be the first industry wide, cross-brand discussion of the White Paper, as the industry and experts look into what it says, what it means, and how it will affect dealerships in Canada. As well, there will be engaging town hall session on a variety of important topics including the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority.

The Summit will also look further into emerging technologies such as alternative fuels, hybrid vehicles, and integrating electronic vehicles into the automobile network and community grids.

In addition to the exceptional program of speakers and discussions, the 2010 Provincial Auto Industry Summit will also host a reception with BC Government Ministers, MLA's and Municipal leaders from around BC have been­ invited, as well as a Luncheon session with keynote speaker Premier Gordon Campbell.

This will be the most significant event for business and networking in the automotive industry, and with the Union of British Columbia Municipalities holding its annual convention - with over 2000 municipal leaders in attendance - makes Whistler the place to be.
